For the past three years we've
been having fun with different flavours, whisking away, finely
tuning our batter to create a thin, non stodgy jumbo pancake filled
with a choice of savoury and sweet fillings to serve as a takeaway
food.
We love this job. We get to
go to all sorts of functions and events and meet a huge variety of
lovely people.
Our little stall can be erected
in your back garden through your kitchen door or next to the market
men in the town square.
If it's a country show, festival
or large sporting event, then we tow out our stripy Tuesdays trailer
where we can serve our pancakes with hot and cold drinks.
No doo is too small or large.
It's not just our fillings that are flexible. It's the variety
of venues that we get our kicks from.
Tuesdays is a different kind of
takeaway including enticing vegetarian fillings along with gluten
free options. That's why we can hold our own between the
burger boys.
Each pancake is paddled in front
of the first in the queue on a traditional cast iron griddle, and
then filled to order. |
